2011-2012 Goals

We begin 2011 with 31 cadets and 4 seniors. - Complete School year with 40 cadets and 7 seniors.

  1. Continue to apply for grants and donations.
  2. Improve posting of cadet records and accomplishments.
  3. Encourage voluntary participation by parents in the program as members, Aerospace members or parent volunteers.
  4. Continue to maintain and improve the squadrons web site:  www.webmastersswfl.com/0816
  5. Have two cadets attend ES training
  6. Have one senior member commit to support of the aerospace education program.
  7. Have 25 cadets take part in Cadet Orientation Rides
  8. Establish a Aerospace Continuity book.
  9. Develop budget for the 2012 year.
  10. Recruit 20 additional cadets.
  11. Recruit 3 additional senior members
  12. Process 5  applications for winter encampment
  13. Process 5 applications for summer encampment.
  14. Establish a trained urban search team and start to develop a second team.
  15. Have 6 news releases published in local newspapers
  16. Submit 3 articles to the Wing Newspaper
  17. Plan and execute 9 special activities:

Field trip to Lee County Mosquito Control TBA  
Conduct Curry Boot Camp October 7 - 8, 2011  
Conduct book fundraiser TBA  
Sponsor Veterans' Day Observance at GMS November 10, 2011 Lt. Col. Spieth & Mr. MacDougall
Wreaths Across America December 10, 2011 Lt. Col. Spieth
Hold cadet recognition Dinner May 2012  
Conduct minimum of twenty cadet orientation rides during the year    
Conduct five recruiting activities    
Take part in and support two air show in Florida
