Class of '62 Reunion 2002 - 45 Years

Pre Reunion Celebration: TOUR KANSAS - Anyone can join in a car caravan to local tourist points each day Wednesday June 13 through Friday June 15, 2012. (Suggestions accepted for day trips.) There are now 5 cabins at Farlington Lake, a campground and Pittsburg motels for anyone interested in making this an extended reunion and a week of fun you'll be talking about for years!!!!
  • Friday Evening June 15, 2012 7:00 P.M. - "Gathering on the Green" - Girard Golf Course Clubhouse and outdoor patio area. Meal and Meet and Greet

  • Saturday June 16, 2012 - 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. Class of 1962 will be honored at the 5th Annual Nick's Reunion on the Courthouse lawn. Lots of shade serving famous Nick-burgers and fries.
  • 6:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M. Meal and Mingling "Celebrities" under new management located south off the square.
  • Sunday June 17, 2012 9:00 A.M.-10:30 A.M. - Farewell Brunch in Frontenac
  • Jo Burke Farabi has offered her home for our farewell gathering on Sunday morning. Coffee, fruit trays, and sweet rolls on the menu.
This is a tentative schedule that was discussed and if anyone has concerns or additional suggestions let us hear from you.
 
A monthly newsletter will be put out starting in October 2011 as we strive to finalize and confirm what will be our 50th Reunion. Let's make this the most memorable event that Girard has ever witnessed!!!!! Meanwhile mark your calendars and plan to BE THERE or BE SQUARE.
